In short:
Returning to a chapter already read, on January 18th, President Lula went back to his agenda in the oil industry, what was a hallmark of corruption scandals in his previous administrations when dealing with Petrobras.
Under harsh criticism, the current leader announced in a ceremony that the Federal Goverment will inject between R$ 6 billion and R$ 8 billion into the Abreu e Lima Refinery (Pernambuco State).
Pro-government channels, however, report that the expectation is that when the facility is operating at its full capacity, the revenue will be R$100 billion per year.
